#arsnova 2010 #91points #Tanzer Brilliant ruby. Lively aromas of blackcurrant, cherry and fresh tobacco are complicated by a smoky mineral quality. Sweet, smooth and broad, showing ripe blackcurrant and cherry flavors and a touch of rose pastille. Quite Bordeaux-like in style, finishing with smooth tannins and strong echoing notes of dark fruits and smoke. After fermentation and nine months of aging in new and used French oak barrels, this wine spent another two years in concrete tanks.
#arsinvitro 2012 #90points #Tanzer Vivid ruby-red. Bright, nervy aromas of red berries and flowers complicated by suggestions of white pepper and succulent herbs. Tangy redcurrant and rose pastille flavors flesh out in the mid-palate, picking up a deeper cherry quality and a suggestion of licorice. Closes juicy, spicy and long, with no rough edges and just a whisper of tannins. This vibrant wine was aged in large concrete tanks for two years.
#inmacula 2014 #90points #Tanzer Light yellow gold. Expressive scents of fresh orchard and pit fruits are complemented by suggestions of white flowers and honey, along with a minty overtone. Juicy and precise in the mouth, offering poached pear and nectarine flavors that become livelier with air. Closes on an emphatic floral note, with strong cut and spicy persistence.
