Ripe dark berry, vanilla and tobacco are complicated by suggestions of peppery spices and succulent herbs. Sweat and energetic in the mouth, offering juicy raspberry and cherry flavors that gain depth and tighten up slowly with aireation. Sappy, seamless and focused on a long, spice-tinged finish that features fine-grained tannins and a hint of smokiness.

Closes long, chewy and firm, displaying building tannins and very good, dark-fruit-driven structure.
