Winters are very cold and summers very hot.<\/span> Unlike other areas in the D.O., summer nights are cool allowing the grapes to ripen very gradually. We harvest some three or four weeks later than the Navarra DO\u2019s southern region.<\/p>\n<p>Tandem\u2019s grapes thus acquire a natural acidity which enables elegant and fresh wines to be produced.<\/p>\n<p>These ideal temperature conditions, combined with a clay loam soil, good rainfall of 600 mm a year, strong winds and an altitude of 600 metres, allow us to obtain very healthy fruit in all possible weathers.
